Dometic Marine has announced that it has signed an agreement with Trinity Yachts, LLC to provide the high-capacity Dometic STS900 chiller for Trinity’s TO62 vessel, a 194-foot superyacht.

The Canal & River Trust is spending £1.3 million in vital maintenance work on canals in Greater Manchester and Cheshire this winter.

HUGO BOSS lost their rig this evening at 21.02 GMT, 370 nautical miles off the coast of Brazil

Alex Thomson and Pepe Ribes, skippers of yacht HUGO BOSS in the Barcelona World Race this evening lost their mast at 21.02 GMT. The yacht was reaching in moderate conditions when there was a rigging failure and the mast fell overboard and broke.

The International J/80 Class Association has awarded the 2017 J/80 World Championships to the Royal Southern Yacht Club, based on the river Hamble.  This will follow on from the UK National Championships that the Club is also hosting in 2015.

Banjo crosses halfway point in 1,700-mile race

After a hectic start from Simon’s Town on Saturday (27 January) when winds gusted over 30kts the 17-strong Governor’s Cup fleet has settled into a downwind sleigh ride on its 1,700 nautical mile course towards St Helena.

In the early hours of Wednesday 3rd December, Finot Conq 100, Nomad IV, sailed by Jean-Paul Riviere arrived in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria. The assessment of the broken boom is that it cannot be repaired well enough to rejoin the race and, sadly, Nomad IV has officially retired.
