Berth holders with catamarans will not be charged any surcharge
Sant Carles Marina in Catalonia, MDL’s first Spanish location, has opened a fantastic berthing area designed specifically to easily accommodate catamarans in the Mediterranean. MDL is also offering catamaran owners the chance to enjoy berthing fees at the same competitive rates as monohull owners - with no additional surcharges for the beam size.
Catamarans are spacious, stable boats that are ideal to cruise the Mediterranean – with Sant Carles Marina becoming a popular home port for many. However due to the size of their beam, owners often incur extra costs or surcharges at marinas.
As of 1st December 2010, catamaran owners will not be charged any surcharges for annual berthing at MDL’s Spanish resort.

They were expected to spend the night at the British High Commission in the Kenyan capital Nairobi before flying back to the UK this morning, November 15.
