As the fourth leg of the Volvo Ocean Race 2011 - 2012 gets underway from Sanya, China to Auckland, New Zealand, all the competing teams will be chasing the early leaders, Team Telefonica, skippered by Iker Martinez.

Team Telefonica made it a clean sweep of the first three legs, with overall victory in Leg 3 of the Volvo Ocean Race 2011-2012 which ran from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to Sanya, China by finishing the second stage of leg 3 in 12 days 19 hours 58 minutes 21 seconds to take 24 points and become the first boat since Peter Blake's Steinlager 2 in 1989 - 1990 to sweep the first three legs.
