It seems that the 33rd Americas Cup has, once again, descended into infantile squabbling before anyone even gets their feet wet.

The latest upset came when Mascalzone Latino, challenger of record, withdrew from the event after Vincenzo Onorato tore the arms off his Action Man during a reinactment of the famous 1938 Naples Conker Riot.

Another sunny day greeted us as we arrived.  Visitors were queuing even before the gates opened and it looked like it had the makings of a good day.

Fortified by hot dogs and vast quantities of tea we launched ourselves into the penultimate day.

Not far away in Hamble, a collection of the Zapcat race teams, including our very own Craig and Rob (Blue Sheets 1) got together for a blast across to Yarmouth for lunch.  Even a RIB and a Jetski came along for the ride.

At last!  Sunshine!  The bright blue skies cheered everyone up and good crowds made the day fly by.

I think Toby is gradually losing the plot.  He had managed not to embarrass himself too much so far, but he made up for it today.

The Zapcat racing at the weekend has been cancelled and I'm trying desperately to find something else for the racers to do.  Did try and blag moorings and tickets for th boat show, but no joy.

Tuesday to Thursday was cold, wet and a bit bleak.  Visitor numbers dropped accordingly and left us to entertain ourselves.  It also gave Diane a great opportunity to go round and visit our existing clients as well as chatting to prospective ones.
