A new state of the art range of digital + analogue portable moisture meters has been introduced by Sovereign for application into many Industries from Engineering & Construction, through Processing & Environmental, to Marine & Aerospace for the detection and measurement of water, moisture, dampness and condensation in a wide variety of materials.
Typically solving problems in timber, plaster and concrete in the Building Industry to monitoring moisture in GRP or FRP in the Yachting, Marine and Aerospace markets before osmosis and blistering leads to expensive remedial work. There are 3 models, the Moisture Master, Quantum Marine and Quantum Survey Meter, all of which are housed in rugged, waterproof, high visibility bright yellow Peli security cases and provide accurate digital and analogue information with inbuilt fast check calibration.
The Quantum versions incorporate relative humidity, automatic dew point for surface diagnostics and air/surface temperature information with shallow or deep moisture detection for GRP and FRP constructions. Pad sensor probes provide non destructive, fast coverage with compact, permanently connected extendable lead for maximum flexibility and reliability with no other costly, auxiliary attachments. Pin sensors are included in the Quantum Survey and Moisture Master for measurements on uneven surfaces and within confined spaces.
Comparative readings can be displayed automatically above, or below, a selected datum level enabling large areas to be quickly assessed as can proximity to dew point, which might pose possible condensation problems. A bright, traffic light circle of green/amber/red LEDs display instant and changing visual information together with a digital readout for recording specific information. Case size is 235 x 115 x 190 mm and weight 1.2Kg, using 4 x AA 1.5V batteries.
