Designed for serious coastal and offshore sailing, Gill has launched the OS2 Smock to compliment the market leading OS2 range of highly breathable and fully waterproof clothing.

The OS2 Smock introduces a 3 layer material to the OS2 range for the first time, an innovation matched perfectly to the design and ergonomics of a smock.  Basically, using a 3 layer fabric makes the Smock much easier to get on and off, more comfortable to wear, and improves breathability.

Advantages of choosing a smock over a regular jacket are that the opportunity for water ingress through the neck opening and at the waist are significantly reduced for those who are particularly exposed to the elements – for example working on the bow in poor conditions.   This is achieved through a comfortable and adjustable PU neck seal and a neoprene waistband that seals up easily.

The OS2 Smock incorporates many features of the extremely successful OS2 Jacket, such as the offshore collar design with fleece lining and storm flap, high visibility hood, double wrist seal, and integral hand warmer pockets.

The new OS2 Smocks are available in 3 colour options, all with striking coordinated graphic details, Silver Grey, Red and Graphite, with the OS2 Trousers available to match in Graphite or Red.
