GOLDFISH RIBS FLY ONTO SUPERYACHT SHOPPING LISTS

Salterns Boatyard, the UK distributor for the Norwegian built Goldfish luxury RIB's has announced a sharp upturn in interest in the boats for use as Superyacht tenders as well as being super fast, leisure RIB's.

The Goldfish 36 launched at the Southampton Boat Show this year, was sold during the event and has already been entered for the next Round Britain Race, while other potential buyers intend to use the boats as tenders for their other yachts.

The 36 has been built using the highest quality materials and fittings with every attention to detail needed for the helmsman and passengers to safely enjoy high speeds on water even in rough sea states.

The small cabin built into the main control pod, has two occasional berths and plenty of room to store equipment and a few bottles of the owners favourite champagne.

The power for the 36 comes from two Yanmar 315hp diesels which have been tuned up to 380hp, these Dmax Yanmars are therefore highly compact for their power, reducing weight and providing up to 80 knots in most conditions.

Salterns Boatyard General Manager, James Sydenham commented, "We have been busy with boat trials on both the Goldfish 36 and 29 following Southampton and have been absolutely delighted with the results. It shows that the market is still strong for the high standards of quality that these amazing boats offer. They are as equally comfortable at speed as they are gently cruising with passengers enjoying the sun beds, but when the owner wants to open her up for some fun, there is virtually no other leisure RIB that will even get close!"

The Goldfish 36 was designed and built by Goldfish Boat AS in Norway, with a stepped decompressing hull to provide the boats exceptional manoeuvrability on the water. Hydraulically dampened seating for 6 makes the Goldfish an ideal RIB Tender for fast trips ashore irrespective of weather and enormous fun as a leisure boat.
