Marine Sales UK is launching the new Legend 39 at the Tullet Prebon London Boat Show running from the 8th – 17th January 2010. The official press launch will take place on Friday 8th January 2010 at 13:30 on board the Legend 39 on Stand N021M.
The Legend 39 takes on board the highly successful attributes of the Legend 38. Her hull shape has been adapted; she is sleeker than previous models and will be shaping the performance cruiser range of the Legends from 2010 onwards.
On deck you will notice specific new features such as the 2 wheel configuration. This allows for improved visibility on all points of sail adding to the safety of the crew, the skipper and others on water, whilst increasing the comfort and control of those at the helm.
The cockpit is spacious with a wide bathing platform at the stern providing easy access for boarding from a pontoon or dinghy.
Below deck her characteristics show more grandeur than previous models. Underfoot the cherry laminate provides a luxurious feel combined with the faux granite galley countertops and the stainless steel rail providing an elegant function as well as a safety handrail.
By adding larger deck ports into the salon area, more light is released into the saloon and galley area.
The nav station is spacious resulting in additional comfort when route planning and it can now accommodate a clearer chart plotter.
The popular 2 stateroom and one head format has been kept.
Under the waterline you will find the longest bilge keel Hunter have put on their Legend range.
The bilge keel increases the stability of the boat, making her more appealing to the family cruiser market, whilst still offering her owner the opportunity to sail into shallower waters for weekend adventures.
She can be left to dry out whilst her hull, anode and anti-fouling is maintained without the worry of additional costs of having to store ashore.
This adds to the attraction of this particular Legend without the loss of performance.
