X Factor finalists Stacey Solomon and Olly Murs will officially open the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show held at ExCeL London at 11:00am on Friday 8 January, kicking off 10 of the busiest days in the country’s boating calendar. After catching the judges’ eyes with her soulful version of Louis Armstrong’s What A Wonderful World, Stacey went on to be the last girl standing, reaching the final three of the competition, while heart-throb Olly battled through to the grand final where he faced overall winner Joe McElderry. To kick start the New Year, Essex’s favourite new singing sensations will perform live on the Show Stage Powered by Fairline to declare the Show open, before posing for a photo call with members of the Royal Engineers. The Corps of Royal Engineers are going on to make history at the Show by demonstrating their craft out on the water for the first time since the Show opened in 1954. With over 500 exhibitors displaying their products and services, the Tullett Prebon London International Boat Show is the capital’s biggest marine industry showcase. From 8 – 17 January a diverse selection of exhibitors from across the country will assemble at ExCeL, Docklands, to present everything from motor yachts to dinghies, sail boats to canoes and deck equipment, sailing courses, chandlery and more. Whether you’re looking to kick start a new hobby, gather ideas for a sailing holiday or simply enjoy a leisurely wander around, you can’t fail to be inspired by the Show’s fantastic atmosphere and energy.
