Zodiac Marine & Pool (ZMP) in conjunction with its Premier dealer, BHG Marine, will launch the new Bombard Sunrider 550 from ZMP's Comfort Cruising range at this year's RIBEX in Cowes. This quality family day boat offers a high level of standard equipment and is excellent value for money for a RIB of this size.

This spacious and well designed 5.5 metre boat is available in a choice of grey or navy blue. The tubes provide 5 airtight compartments constructed in StronganT DuotexT fabrics, while the GRP V hull has been designed for easy handling and exceptional grip during high speed turns. The non-slip deck has an integrated 77-litre fuel tank under the cockpit sole and the standard central console tilts forward to give access to a storage area and the fuel tank. The console is fitted with steering wheel, steering system, cable windscreen and handrail as standard.

At the stern, a GRP housing for the single outboard motor installation keeps the cockpit dry and free from control cables. A stern boarding gate and ladder allows easy access from the water. On the bow a polyester bow roller makes mooring and anchoring safe and easy with access to the bow locker, which provides ample storage for ropes and an anchor.

The Sunrider 550 has upholstered seating in the bow and a bench seat at the helm, with storage beneath. The boat will carry up to a maximum of 11 people. Maximum recommended engine power is 70 hp which will provide a top speed of up to 42 mph with one person on board.

Seen for the first time in the UK at RIBEX, the new Bombard Searider 550 from ZMP is a versatile and safe RIB which serves as a water-ski or fun day boat for all the family. A special show package price is being offered by BHG Marine of £18,895.00 inc. VAT, which includes a Yamaha F80BETL outboard engine and trailer.

Also on display at this year's show will be the latest version of Zodiac's new cabin RIB, N-ZO, which was recently awarded the 2010 Motor Boat of the Year Award in the 'RIBs & Sportsboats' Category. The 2010 version of this high performance cabin RIB incorporates a number of performance improvements following valued customer feedback and is now even faster thanks to an increase in engine capacity and reduction in weight.
