The RYA today (27 April) launches its brand new ‘Partner Programme’ that will allow training centres, clubs, class associations and any other third party to offer RYA publications and selected shop items through their own websites whilst at the same time providing an easier way to earn commission on the products sold. The programme provides registered parties with all the necessary links and promotional banners to advertise RYA products on their site and with the whizzy behind the scenes technology, developed by the RYA, can track orders placed through their site in return for a percentage commission on the sale. Steen Ingerslev, RYA Business Development Manager said: “Following discussions with a number of RYA Training Centres and Clubs we realised that with our ever growing range of titles; there are currently over 100 RYA publications and DVDs available, it wasn’t practical or feasible for all the items to be stocked at the centres. By introducing the Partner Programme we can make all our publications easily accessible online. “The programme is a great enhancement to any website, with the added benefit of the provider making some money at the same time and it’s completely free.” The process for joining the Partner Programme is easy and user friendly with all the necessary information readily available on the RYA website at www.rya.org.uk/go/partner, but there is a dedicated contact point should you have any problems setting yourself up (partner@rya.org.uk). Partners will initially have access to text and image links for their site, product links and banners, whilst in the future there will also be video and reviews links and articles, everything they need to promote the Partner Programme on their site. “We will also be providing registered partners with regular updates and newsletters on special offers, new product releases on an ongoing basis and also the opportunity to provide feedback to us to what does and doesn’t work well and allow partners to share best practice and ideas so that we can make the programme a real success”, continued Steen. “RYA Training Centres and affiliated clubs will earn slightly more commission than non RYA related sites but everyone will benefit from a special Performance Bonus Rate which will be calculated on a quarterly basis compared to the same time period from the previous year”, explained Steen, “just another little added incentive.” To join the training centres, clubs and other users that have already registered for the new FREE Partner Programme, or to find out more visit www.rya.org.uk/go/partner or if you have any queries email partner@rya.org.uk.
