DISCOVERY YACHTS EXPANDS SALES TEAM

Discovery Yachts has expanded its sales team with the appointment of Carole Paulet who will work from its Southampton offices alongside Sales Director, Mark Waterhouse.

Following the Lorient Multihull show it was clear that Discovery had a strong market in France for the Discovery 50 Cat, so the appointment of French national Carole is an important move for Discovery Yachts' interest in the European market. A marketing graduate, Carole is fluent in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese. She is an accomplished yachtswoman and has cruised extensively from an early age around France, Spain and the UK and taught sailing in the Mediterranean. Before joining Discovery, Carole worked in sales and marketing with a yacht Charter company in Lorient.

Mark Waterhouse commented, "This is an important step for Discovery Yachts and shows our commitment to focusing more on the global market. Carole is extremely knowledgeable about long distance cruising and will be much appreciated by all of our clients.  She will be dealing with all three models in our fleet and we will encourage her complete integration into the Discovery Yachts overall market which includes our UK owners."

The company recorded a successful Multihull show and has confirmed it will exhibit again in 2011 when the show will be in Montpelier. Carole Paulet will attend the company's next boat show at Southampton in September this year.
