C A CLASE LAUNCHES THE SEACROSS CX100 FOR SAFE, USER-FRIENDLY NAVIGATION

London International Boat Show, 9th - 18th January 2009, Stand N38A

C A Clase, one of the UK's leading distributors of marine electronics for leisure and commercial users, will be unveiling the SeaCross CX100 navigation system at the 2009 London International Boat Show. Complete with unique radar functions, incredible system reaction time and an easy to use interface, the high performance product has been designed to provide users with high speed and accurate navigation data.

Available with a large colour screen or as a stand alone unit, the SeaCross CX100 can be connected to existing on-board monitors to provide users with a technologically advanced yet simple to use system. By fully integrating data from GPS, radar, wind meters and all other NMEA-indicators (transducers), the SeaCross CX100 gathers all necessary navigation information onto one single screen.

The SeaCross CX100 combines sophisticated radar background underlay (RBU) and non-terrestrial object enhancement (NTE) software to deliver clear, precise navigation, helping to significantly enhance boaters' awareness and safety at sea. In addition, the CX100 incorporates a market-leading system reaction time (SRT) of 2 seconds for both course and position updates, making SeaCross the obvious choice for boats travelling faster than 30 knots.

The large 'track-ball' control has been ergonomically developed to ensure market leading ease-of-use, even in the toughest weather conditions. With the innovative 'track-ball' and three button control, users are able to easily navigate around the system without the use of manuals.

The SeaCross CX100 navigation unit can be purchased with a 12", 15" or 19" display. A number of packages are available from C A Clase, which incorporate other products from the SeaCross navigation range. Prices start from £8955.65 excluding VAT (UK RRP), to include a Type Approved 12" Daylight Viewable Screen, Seacross Processor, Trackball, and GPS antenna.

Based in Hampshire, CA Clase (UK) Ltd is the sole UK distributor of the SeaCross range. For further information please visit the team on stand N38A at London International Boat Show 2009.
