This year Lombard Marine Finance is to proudly sponsor the Festival of Power and Sail event, to be held in the Port Solent Marina from the 29th – 31st May, 10am – 5pm.
Ian Braham, Head of Lombard Marine Finance says: "We are very pleased to support the Festival of Power and Sail this year and we look forward to assisting customers in buying their boats. With interest rates at the lowest they have been in living memory, the cost of financing the purchase of a boat has never been more affordable. Lombard introduced LIBOR based marine mortgages at the start of this year, allowing recent rate cuts to be passed onto clients. This funding basis has proved extremely popular and as a result, Lombard has lent more in 2009 than the same period in 2008. As an example, at Lombard we can currently offer an APR of only 3.8% on borrowing of £160,000, which would equate to £1,160 per month over 15 years. With some great deals on offer from boat retailers and with the low level of investment returns, many people are deciding that now is a great time to buy."
Brands at the show include; Bavaria Motor Boats, Beneteau, Elan, Fjord, Hanse, Island Packet, Jeanneau , Lagoon Catamarans, Maritimo, Moody, Rigiflex and Sealine Luxury Motor Cruisers. These are to be exhibited by Ancasta International Boat Sales, Premier Yacht Sales, Maritimo Ltd, Walton Marine and Inspiration Marine Group Ltd.
Come to Port Solent to see yachts and motor boats from some of the world’s best brands alongside attractions from the RNLI, Sea Cadets, The Royal Navy, a Challenge 67 Round the World Racing Yacht and many, many more.
The Port Solent Boardwalk will be hosting plenty of entertainment, food and drink, so that you can enjoy lunch, live music, and all the festivities, overlooking the spectacle in the marina at one of the south coast’s favourite destinations! Not to mention the other top class facilities in this perfect venue, one of the biggest chandleries in the country, a cinema, health and fitness club and many shops!
Port Solent Marina is just off from Junction 12 on the M27 and the nearest local rail station is Portchester.
