Organisers of the 2007 Earls Court Boat Show and the 2008 Sail, Power & Watersports Show at Earls Court are delighted to announce the launch of a brand new consumer event, the British Leisure Show. The unique family friendly event gives visitors a fantastic opportunity to experience a wide range of leisure activities. A dedicated Boats & Watersports Zone playing a starring role by inspiring people to ‘Get Afloat’ in a wide variety of ways.

The show is ideally located at the heart of an active boating and watersports community with popular local activities including rowing, sailing, fishing and river cruising.

On the banks of the River Thames visitors will have the opportunity to experience an exciting interactive showcase of Sports Boats, Yachts, Powerboats, Dinghies, Classic and Wooden Boats, Inland Waterways and of course a range of Watersports such as Diving, Fishing, Kitesurfing and Wakeboarding.

Managing Director, James Brooke said,"This is a fantastic new opportunity for companies within the marine industry to meet new customers cost effectively, and benefit from cross-selling opportunities at a modern and diverse event. We're responding to high consumer demand for value at a time when people are looking for affordable ways to spend their leisure time in the UK. We're committed to demonstrating how easy it is to get out on the water, and promoting all boating activities and watersports within the show."

In partnership with The Camping & Caravanning Club, the show organisers have created a fantastic and affordable Family Mini-Break opportunity for visitors.  A designated Exhibitors Village has also been incorporated to help reduce the overall cost for exhibitors, whilst providing an excellent show experience with additional services such as the ‘Taste of Leisure' restaurant, which will provide hearty early morning breakfasts!

Damien Field, Membership Activities Manager of The Camping and Caravanning Club said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with the British Leisure Show, and that The Club is able to extend our services and offer campers a high level of service. We have over 470,000 members and we’re sure that many of them will be keen to visit the Show.”
