To help boat owners make the most of the summer season and explore other cruising grounds, six Southampton based MDL owned and operated marinas are offering the chance to stay overnight for just £10 on any Wednesday during July 2009*. Hamble Point Marina, Mercury Yacht Harbour, Port Hamble Marina, Hythe Marina Village, Ocean Village Marina and Shamrock Quay are each running the visitor berthing offer, which is available for boats up to 14m. 

MDL marinas not only offer first-class berthing and marina services so that boat owners can really relax and unwind throughout the duration of their stay, but they are also situated in many great locations.

The surrounding waters of Southampton offer excellent sailing and cruising opportunities as well as provide easy access for boat owners visiting new places and revisiting old favourites. Within easy reach of the famous waters of the Solent, the River Hamble is suitably home to three of the participating MDL marinas. Hamble Point Marina, Mercury Yacht Harbour and Port Hamble Marina are perfectly located for visiting the nearby maritime village of Hamble and are equally suited for those wishing to stay overnight before travelling further south to the Isle of Wight or east to the historic city of Portsmouth.

Travelling into the heart of Southampton, Ocean Village Marina is within close proximity to the city's restaurants, bars and shops, as well as offers easy access to the Solent. Located nearby, along the western shore of Southampton Water, Hythe Marina was the first marina village to open in the UK. This friendly residential community includes waterside homes, shops, restaurants and bars. Along the River Itchen, visitors can take it easy and spend time with friends in the bar and restaurant at Shamrock Quay, which is also conveniently situated near Ocean Village Marina and is within easy reach of the Solent and Channel Islands.
