At this week’s Fairline conference, sister companies Fairline Essex and Fairline Southampton were jointly presented with the ‘Fairline Dealer of the Year 2008’ award in recognition of placing the highest value of orders with Fairline during 2008. In the face of international competition within the Fairline global dealer network, Fairline Essex and Fairline Southampton were rewarded the accolade. Together, the dealers provide sales and service facilities to both new and existing Fairline customers along the UK East, South and South West Coasts.

On behalf of the two dealers, James Barke, Managing Director of Fairline Essex accepted the award from Fairline’s CEO, Derek Carter at the conference’s closing gala dinner and ceremony.

“We were especially delighted to receive the award this year, having secured the retail sales during a particularly difficult trading climate. It is a credit to the after-sales support, strong service and customer base of both our teams. In addition, our part-exchange scheme has proved popular with customers looking to upgrade during this challenging economic period. 

Looking at our current performance in 2009, we continue to benefit from strong opportunities and have already secured greater sales than the same period in 2008. We have a positive outlook once again for the year ahead,” comments James Barke.
