Searex looks at SuperSport entry in '09

#66 Cranfields Wine throttleman Siegfried Grieve has said that his Searex-run team is gearing up for a dual-class Powerboat P1 assault in 2009.

The German outfit ran its first full season with its new Mercury-powered Falcon 40 hull in the Evolution class this year, and is keen to add a SuperSport entry to the line-up next year.

"At the moment there is not as much wind, but the sea conditions are still severe and conditions are very changeable, as we have already seen." said race director, Rory Power.

The #10 Fantastic 1 Cigarette Evolution team scored second in Saturday's Sprint race in PortugalClass 1 throttleman Matteo Nicolini has said he’d like to return to the Powerboat P1 championship next year if he can, after racing in three events with the #10 Fantastic 1 Cigarette Racing Team Europe Evolution-class entry. The Italian helped the outfit score its maiden Powerboat P1 victory on his first outing with the team in Tunisia.
