Dr Liam Fox MP for North Somerset illustrated with Vincent Scott-Halton Marketing Manager of the Bristol based Hydrex group – a leading national excavator rental company, drew the winner of a raffle which supported the raising of funds for the “Help for Heroes” Charity.

The prize winner will enjoy a weekend in Exmouth experiencing the thrills of power boat racing and enjoying a behind the scenes introduction to the Hydrex Honda Formula 4-Stroke Power Boat team who won the 2009 British Offshore Championship series after participating at five venues and in twelve rounds.

Hydrex entertained thirteen wounded servicemen at a recent Silverstone round of the British Superbikes Championship where they met the Superbike riders and enjoyed lunch in the Hydrex hospitality unit and a walk in the pit lane.

Hydrex raised a sum of £1,500 on the day for the Help for Heroes a charity which has been running for some two years and which has raised over £30 million to assist with the creation of rehabilitation centres throughout the UK and to work for service men and women who have suffered as a result of service in the theatre of wars around the world.
