We seem to have had a run of good weather in Vigo this weekend, and today’s final day of action has dawned no different. Conditions are bright, sunny and beautifully calm in the Puerto de Vigo, and it’s a similar story out where we’ll be racing – straight across from the scenic beaches of Playa de Samil.
The SuperSport class Endurance race will be taking place at 11:30 local time (09:30 GMT), while the Evolution class Endurance race will follow at 16:30 local time (14:30 GMT). Although the weather is fantastic, we hear there are slightly more choppy seas than in the secluded estuary opposite the harbour, so, get down there to see a very different view of Powerboat P1 action in Spain.
We’ll still be having all the post-race reaction and podium celebrations in the Puerto de Vigo, though, so be sure to head down there to watch this weekend’s Vigo Grand Prix of the Sea winners crowned. The SuperSport podium ceremony will be taking place at 13:30 local time (11:30 GMT), while the Evolution podium ceremony will be taking place at 18:30 local time (16:30 GMT).
And, if you’re based at home, you can watch all the races live on Virtual Spectator and listen to our exclusive commentary on P1 Radio. We’ll also have full reports, news, reaction and analysis from every moment of the weekend, so keep it tuned to PowerboatP1.com.
