2008 Honda Formula 4 Stroke Association Drainstore.com have a new sponsor in Honda Hydrex and a new boat and set to make their impact on the 2009 Season as the championship gets underway in Pwllheli, North Wales on the 9th & 10th March 2009.

The fleet will make a welcome return to the area after a six year absence from the Welsh town, and this formidable duo are raring to go. The Honda Championship will again see the teams battle it out over 5 Grand Prix to see who walks away with the 2009 RYA National Championship Title, reigning champion co-pilot Andy Phipps (Southampton) has confidence that their winter preparations will have them in good stead for the season but they’re not expecting an easy ride

“There’s a lot of strong competition in the fleet and we wont know who our main competition will be until after the first race there is always a lot of rumours going around in the off season about who is getting the most speed etc, but until the Green flag drops for the first race you don’t listen to it – we do our talking on the race course.”

All the Action will happen close to the shore giving spectators a fantastic view of all the action as it happens.
