Jorn Tandberg will be looking to end his run of bad luck at the Romanian Grand Prix on Lake Siutghiol, Mamaia-Constanta, 28-30 August.
The Welmax team boss and throttleman has confirmed that fellow Norwegian, Kolbjorn Selmer, will again take the wheel as they look to break the jinx that sidelined the MTI-designed Mercury V8-powered Welmax in the opening two races of the season.
His win on Lake Siutghiol last year - his second of the season - snatched the European Championship from Victory Team’s Al Marri and Bin Hendi by a single point, and a fourth career win for Tandberg in either or both of the weekend’s races will kick-start his season and put his title defence back on course.
