All you can really say about Plymouth on Saturday was that it rained, rained and then rained some more… some Zapcats did some racing but mostly it rained.
Despite the hideous weather Nial and James who were back in div two (after Nials injured ribs at Bournemouth halted their racing) managed to get first place in every race including the final.
So another Bluesheets Racing dominated award ceremony later the boys were bumped back up to division 1.
Division 1 was not quite so successful with the boat moving exceptionally slowly in the first race, this was discovered to be due to a broken prop-guard, and as they were on a floating pontoon, changing it took longer than usual and they missed their next race. The rest of the day followed in much the same pattern and they didn’t make the final.
Still in div 1 for Barry Island so they get another chance to prove that they deserve to be there!
