Dan and I have managed to find a buyer with the help of ZCR Ltd to sell our hull to. The boat will fly out to North Carolina USA tomorrow and this has resulted in us buying a new hull.

We picked up the new hull on Friday. Dan and his dad spent all day Saturday stripping and re-building our engine and the boat is finally ready to race.

Dan and I took out the new boat that is in a new colour.... Turquoise ( just like Certain Death - Doyster Bluesheets) yesterday for a play. Oh My God! What a difference! We were absolutely flying compared to the speed we were getting in our old Black and White hull.

We are extremely happy that we have made the decision to sell and upgrade our hull as the old boat really does seem to have been our problem all season!

We found that by using the same set up that we have used all season in the old boat, we were actually pulling about an additional 5 - 10knots. It has made such a difference that Dan and I are really excited about the forthcoming event.

This could be the chance that Bluesheets II have been waiting for! A chance to prove that Bluesheets II is one of the best teams on the water.
